Sports Day update

Sports day is fast approaching, Thursday 29th September.

The program for sports day has been uploaded to this blog. If you have any queries please do not hesitate to contact me.

Just a reminder that all students need a broad brimmed or legionnaires school hat on Sports Day – even though it is term 3 and our recess/lunch/PE/fitness “no hat, play in the shade” policy is for terms 1 and 4, whole day outdoor activities at any time of the year require wearing of an approved school hat.

We are all looking forward to having an action packed day full of fun. See you there.

The Jump Rope for Heart troupe from Parkside Primary school came along to our school on Wednesday 7th September and ran a number of workshops and performed a great routine to our students and celebrated with us. The favourite routines were pretzel, caboose, around the world, moonball travel and travelling triplets. The final amount raised by our students on Jump Off Day was $7,133.50 .  All students received a sticker in recognition of their participation. Students who raised $30 or more will be receiving their prizes in a few weeks. When they arrive I will distribute them. It was an amazing effort and outcome for such a worthwhile cause.
