SPORTS DAY and CAPTAINS
Sports Day will be held on Friday the 14th of September. Year 7 students are busy writing their applications for Sports Day Captains. Voting will be next week. Good luck to everyone who is applying.
SAPSASA Athletics Trials
SAPSASA Athletics team is nearly selected. Results will be published in the next newsletter. The students that are selected will attend the SAPSASA Combined Athletics Carnival on Wednesday 22nd August at Santos Stadium.
Primary School Golf Event
Any students who play golf and are in years 5, 6 or 7 or in year 4 but are 10 years old can trial for this event. Student try out and qualifying day on Monday 13th August at Adelaide Shores Golf Park. If students are interested please come and see Mrs Boothey for the registration forms before 3rd August.
SA Schools Orienteering Relay Championships Trials
The SA Schools Orienteering Relay Championships will be held on Friday 31st August at Thorndon Park, Athelstone. Students have now nominated themselves. Practise sessions will be run by Kim Boothey at lunch time on Wednesdays commencing week 2. It is also a prerequisite that students do at least one course with Orienteering SA so that they are familiar with the process of orienteering outside a familiar setting. Names of the selected students will be posted next term.
