Sapsasa Swimming

Nominations for students who are interested in participating in the Combine District Swimming Carnival on 3rd March are due Monday 20th February.  A list of successful nominations will be listed on the PE Blog.

Sapsasa Trials

Trials will be run this term to select the teams who will represent Colonel Light Gardens this year in Sapsasa. The Sapsasa sport , coach and trial dates are listed below. All trials will be held at lunch time on the specified days at Colonel Light Gardens Primary School. Sign up sheets are in front of Langley Hall. Please be mindful that year 7s and 6s have priority. Year 5s will not be trialed for boys soccer and boys and girls basketball.

Sapsasa Orienteering

Our school will be participating in the Sapsasa Orienteering relay event in Term 3. If you are interested in gaining confidence in this sport before nominations are due please refer to the information below. An Introduction to Orienteering (Very Easy Courses) will be conducted at Wadmore Park on the morning of Sunday 26 February 2017. The training is suitable for school age children and adults including registered teachers. The training will form part of two orienteering events for registered teachers to attend to gain accreditation as a Level 0 orienteering coach. Details are on our website at www.sa.orienteering.asn.au Adrian Craig; Training Manager Part 1 of an Introduction to Orienteering (Moderate Courses) will be conducted at Wadmore Park on the morning of Sunday 26 February 2017. Part 2 will be conducted at the Orienteering SA Training Day at Para Wirra on Sunday 19 March 2017. The training is suitable for school age children (minimum age 9 years) and adults. SACA Milo Cricket

Members from SACA have come in this week and worked with students to practise their cricket skills. If your child is interested in the in2Cricket and T20 Bash program please refer to the flyer sent home this week.
